to be judged by those who do not know anything about me.

It sucks.... I am a homebody...not a whore...

I have a very, very smart friend who is female and she would always, always say, "I feel bad for guys. It's so much easier for me to find a smart, intellectual, dorky nice guy than it is for you to find that in a girl, or to find any qualities."

That's not to say she found GREAT, amazing guys, either, but it was easier.

Just before I met my current wife, (That is a really interesting and humorous story in itself.) I made a review of my Match dot com in box. I had an even dozen messages.

Six were from women who, for one reason or another, refused to post photos in their profiles, or even send me a photo until we 'became friends'. (I had seven photos posted in my profile.)

Three were from women who had their high school senior yearbook photos posted and no others. (I was 45 at the time and the women who responded to my profile were 40-50.)

One woman had a photo of Andie McDowell posted on her profile. When I asked about it, she said, "I know. All my friends tell me that I look just like her." When I told her that I'd prefer to see her photo, she told me she didn't know how to post one. I was about to ask her how she got the Andie McDowell photo on her profile, but decided to drop it.

One woman had a 'mug shot' posted. I swear. Orange jumpsuit and all.

The most frightening response was from this woman who claimed to be 45 but the posted photo was of a woman obviously in her mid-sixties. She told me that Jesus told her to inform me I should sell my home, move in with her and use the money from the sale to pay off her mobile home.

So much for unity conciousness!

two weeks ago, i went to the national book fair, with the sole intention of chatting up ladies. i figured it would make things easier: thousands of women, they'd have at least a minimal intelligence, and you could literally see their interests in their hands.

A family member of mine married a young woman who loved thrift shops. She was great at searching out and bringing home some great things. Anyway, within a few months of the marriage she searched out a boyfriend for herself.

Your comments are very nice indeed. Especially when coming from a woman's perspective. However, a relationship is about giving and taking. Here is what a man wants and I am very sure you know that because when a woman wants a man really bad, they always know what to do to attract the men. Every woman knows that men want:

1. A fit woman. no fat chicks please. Very few man want that and if you don't agree with me why is that guys go to strip clubs all the time? They prefer to see a sexy fit woman. Most of the time the chick loses the weight so she fits in the wedding dress. Once the ring is on....it is time to hit the cake and the chocolates.

2. A sweet and feminine lady. No frumpy chicks please. Yes and this is weird. Because the fatter the chick gets, the frumpier she gets and the bitchy she gets too. I also think that guys are in blame too because they seem to forget that it is important to look good and to shower every day (come on guys! What's wrong with you?!!)

3. A couple that plays together, stays together. Pick an activity that is good for both and keep you in shape. Ladies need to stop staying at home playing with their dildos while their husbands participate in sport activities and etc. This is the reason why the guys drifts away. He will end up meeting a girl who like what he like to do and bingo. It is a recipe for divorce.

4. If you can't afford it, then don't buy it. Ladies love to spend money they don't have on crap. Work together to build a budget and save the money. Then buy cash only!

I hear that even the online dating services are having financial troubles now. A very popular site with Catholics called www.avemariasingles.com has been down for about a week.

Probably too many people now have a bad taste in their mouths from the past decade of online membership scams. People can't afford it anymore.

So that means we have to do it the old-fashioned way. The pick-up. Does anybody remember how?
