OK Dave, I will give you a list of things to do for the next week, see if you don't drum up a date or two.

1. Barnes & Noble, the smart girls are there, hang out and drink tea, thumb magazines, etc. Coffee shop in most of them.

2. Ditto for the library but harder to talk and no coffee shop.

3. Go to a flea market or antique shop, browse and shoot the breeze.

4. Go to the local gym and work out or even pretend to, tons of women there.

5. Movies, and film festivals, especially indie stuff at colleges.

6. Art shows, book discussion groups, theatre groups. Join them!

7. Volunteer at food bank, cemetary cleanup, to work on local marathons passing out water etc., as a museum docent a couple hours a week.

8. Church maybe.

9. Concerts, plays, orchestra performances, the ballet is the best!

10. Get a really cool antique car and go to car shows.
