Human DNA is a sequence of about 3 billion "instructions" that ultimately build the human. A 1% variance is a huge number of genetic difference and the reason for different "races". I do believe we adapted over time from a common ancestor.

I agree with the sentiment OP, but this was a poorly executed thread.

When noticeable and inherited differences occur in species because of man's manipulation over the years, the different groups are referred to as "Breeds."

When similar occurrences develop as a result of natural reasons, such as geographic isolation, the different groups are referred to as "Races."
