are you a morning person or night owl

I have always been a night person. I hated having a bedtime when I was a youngster. When I was a child I remember saying that when I grow up I want to stay up as late and eat cookies. Now that I am an adult I eat all the cookies I want and I am usually up till 5am most nights. I try not to do anything I don’t want to do.

All you day people act strange. We tollerate it. Then make fun of you when you go home early.

Lol. Post midnight cookies just taste better.

0-12 Loved early mornings, never needed an alarm clock.

Had an unfortunate mercury accident and have had fucked up sleep cycles (night owl) ever since.

If I had my way, I would work 2nd or 3rd shift and sleep all day while all the annoying tards are out and about.

Born at 2 am, night owl and always have been. Sunrise almost makes me nauseated.....lol not really but I really dislike mornings. I can easily wake up pre dawn, because well it is still DARK, but when the sun hits the horizon I hit my pillow and put something dark over my eyes...early morning grates on me like nails on a chalk board, give me darkness...

Night owl, even though I get very mean at night. Still not sure why.

i work 9:30PM-6:00AM which basically forces me to be a night owl but I have to say I like going to bed at 7:30-8AM and getting up around 2:30-3PM

i love spending my nights off listening to music and surfing the net or watching netflix or reading all night

also, 3:30AM bike rides kick ass so long as you wear proper attire and have lights on your bike so the police can't harass you, cause they are practically the only ones out at that time in small cities

going to bed around 8am allows me to be a bit of a morning person too

I know, right? Feels like living in a different world. Curse the early birds who are so chipper and friendly in the mornings! I wish no one would even talk to me until noon! I don't remember anything they say before that anyway.

I've been a night owl since childhood, and I do my best writing and many other creative things at night.

The only downside is when the morning people think something is wrong with me for not being "alive" before noon.

I'm a night owl, have been for as long as I can remember - I'm at my creative best at night. I have this weird thing of being able to feel or sense energies around me and right now, at 1:30 or 2:00 a.m (actually, 3 a.m. is best!), most of them are sleeping and I can finally hear my own silence :)

I am both.

I was diagnosed with "sliding" circadian sleep disorder.

One night I will get sleepy at 10pm
Two nights later i will get sleepy at midnight.
To to three nights later I will get sleepy at 3am.

and it goes on like this around the clock until I am getting ready for bed at odd times like 10am or 3 pm.

It's hell.

No drugs or sleep aids help, no homeopathic cures help and no melatonin helps.

If I have an appointment that I must absolutely be at say the dentist at 10am and my sleep is too far off, the only way I can correct it for that one night is 2 benedryls and 40mg of Valium. I will pass out and sleep and be able to make the appointment but....the next day I am back to my screwed up circadian sleep rhythm.

Night is better, everyone's settling down.. No one to disturb you besides your own thoughts. You're favorite lamp nearby casting a soft warm glow... Peace is in the night

Night. I prefer to work night shift all the time and it's nice always having light traffic on my commute. The less people I have to deal with, the better.

I'm a total night person. The night is just so quiet and peaceful, I feel like I can finally keep to myself. Plus I'm usually more awake at night. Even though all I really do is play video games, watch movies or surf the internet.

Used to go to bed early back when I was in school, now that I'm out I just don't care. Usually only sleep if I'm really tired or just out of boredom

Night owl even most of my life I had to be at work at 6 am, I love mornings but hard to get up.
