They are just buying time. They cannot control this much longer by burning the gas off. Now they have H2S happening and need to seperate that to burn it. Somebody didn't close somthing off properly. Capping off that well was just a panic move. Their spooked and now there has been more seismic activity in the area. The gas will come up somplace else.

H2S gas comes from deep wells as sour gas. Sweet gas/Natural Gas is from more shallow wells.

They need to tell people what the PERCENTAGE OF H2S IT IS. THIS MUST BE FOUND OUT.

That whole place as was stated before is unstable and the gas will just find another place to creep to the surface.

Just think H Bomb Type of deal and you get the picture.

This is not good. Remember when someone thought it would be a good idea back in 1971 to throw a match in a crater to off some gas?
