The price of cigarettes here in Canada is disgusting.

They pretended like it was for extra health care costs associated to smoking.. fine. Whatever. But how about you tax junk food up the ass too? There are a lot worse things that are out there slowly killing people than cigarettes.

I quit smoking a few years ago but I don't believe smokers should be punished like they are. If people are allowed to consume all they want with no reprecussions, why are smokers so vilified?

I don't disagree that smoking is pretty dumb, but so is nearly every fucking thing we do. Sugar, processed foods and white flour... it's all bad for you. It's all poison.

Smoking in the car with windows up and kids, it was no big deal. Now we have seat belts and you can't pull kids on sleds behind trucks and teaching your kids to drive at 105 mph, it's all over, gone, no more, can't have any fun.
