Call For Boycott: Will you support Wal-mart workers in their strike on Black Friday, Nov.23rd?

i avoid walmart whenever possible. it isnt only the labor based abuses, they also con localities into giving them tax breaks to open stores, then pull up stakes when the incentives run out. an economic slash and burn policy.

That's the current business model being spread around the world. It's all image & money like a Hollywood production. These companies are a disaster partly running on State money from the taxpayers that give them an advantage over the others.

Townships give them free land, utilities, tax breaks, etc. and when it suits them they close doen and move out.

I'm NOT going to Wal Mart ever again. How about that?

I mean really......the poor dreggs of humanity that shop there because walmarts have taken all the jobs away.

But Walmart provides value.......Oh yeah....american stores shut down because walmart comes in......then walmart gives those that go out of business jobs that pay 50% less than what they were making.

I don't like walmart. I do shop there maybe 3-4 times a year but only if i can't find anyplace other to shop.

But the thing I hate most about it, is no matter what time of day or night it is......they always manage to have long lines.

Can't they at least make it easier to get in and out of that place faster ?

I mean....2 AM and you still have to wait in line for 25 min because there is only 1 register open. (and you know good well that there are at least 20 other employees in the store....can't they operate a register ?)

I support the workers and would call out sick thanksgiving night. Fuck all that bullshit... We're human beings god damn it ! Our lives have value !!!
It's All about making money for corporate pigs ...

people who claim '' no '' are usually the first ones in lines if there are great deals to be taken advantage of...

Those employees that strike can so CHOSE to leave

There are a million more waiting in the wings for that $10/hr
It beats minimum wage and its not slavery by any means

there's self checkout lanes at mine. In and out. No bullshit. Yeah I've been known to leave my cart sitting and go at grocery stores where there's only one lane open at night and a line has formed.
