Strangeness in Sydney Skies | |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27790642 11/18/2012 06:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just came back from my evening walk and saw the same thing. It's a big electrical storm off Wollongong. The lightning is occurring through cloudbanks hence the flashes, and it's too far offshore for the sound of the thunder to make it to where you are (or where I am). There's nothing strange about it - we're in the summer storm season - but it could mean a damaging storm if it makes landfall tonight. |
