There's not a day that goes by without seeing violence and hatred related to this religion. How do we, as a species, get rid of it? How do we wipe it out from the surface of this planet forever so that it doesn't spread like a cancer?

I don't think that anyone living in a free country like the U.S or most of the western world wants to see their freedom limited and restricted by Shariah law. We have fought for this freedom, right? Many died, so why is it that today, we so complacent about the rise of Islam in our own country?

I wonder why?! it doesn't make any sense. It's as if suddenly, everyone was being apologetic about Hitler's vision of the world. Why do we protect and cherish such a twisted religion and view of the world? We don't have to. We could fight against it instead. Why aren't we?

Mecca reminds me of an asylum, where the crazies circle around a pillar (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest). It's not that far if you think about it.

OP I see your dilemma. I have a hard time reconciling the two belief systems, on one hand the muslims beleive in Jesus but dont live by his teachings of forgiveness
