Then you truly do not understand the doctrine of transubstantiation...and according to the Roman Catholic Church are commiting a sin. The RCC says that the wafer is transformed LITERALLY into the human flesh of Jesus. Under the doctrine of transubstantiation there is no wiggle room...it is THE FLESH OF JESUS...that just "looks" like bread...you are to believe that it has been transformed into the literal flesh of Jesus.

Apparently u don't understand it either! You are not catholic, go back y
To your rock band, Starbucks drinking in church, service
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27942142

Wow - you are clueless! I was raised in the RCC. I know better....you don't even know your own doctrine. Here let me help...

Oh your so wise!!! Because you were raised catholic? Why did the original disciples practice transsubstantiation? They were his direct followers.. Think I'll follow their direction, than some hateron GLP
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27942142

You are misguided. The original church did not believe in transubstantiation. The term did not come into play until much later...
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

I'm the hater? I did not teach you false doctrine. You are now defending something you did not understand within the last hour. You stated I was wrong for thinking that transubstantiation meant literal transformation into flesh...you questioned that. Hitler would have loved having soldiers just like you...clueless to a doctrine...but willing to defend it!

That is the problem of the world in a nut shell

if you have a different belief and or religion fine no problem as long as you dont hurt anything or anyone .

You do your thing we will do ours

But no. Thats not how it works.

That generates wars and strike when one tries to force feed their beliefs on another.

You dont like the Catholic Church? Ok fine no problem. I do

peace

Can a Roman Catholic believe in abortion and still go to the Roman Catholic church? It happens all the time here in the US. Our politicians are typical for just such ways...they believe abortion is OK, but, they still attend the Roman Catholic church. What level of hypocrisy is acceptable? What level of hypocrisy is unacceptable? Can somebody not believe in a doctrine of the RCC...and still call themselves Roman Catholic?

Remember, Jesus did not say that He only came to bring peace...but, also strife. The belief in Jesus has separated many families. At some point in your ancestry...somebody left whatever belief system was the "family" belief system of the time and became Christian.

You are at that point today. Do you question the doctrine of transubstantiation or do you ignore any questions about it. You can not roll back time. The question is before you...I am sorry if you do not like that :-)

You have a bigger fear...I will answer the question for you...yes, it does roll "down hill" from there. If you question the Roman Catholic church on transubstantiation...you WILL question other doctrine as well.

May God bless you in your choice!

Re: The Roman Catholic Church's doctrine of transubstantiation is satanic.
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

I do not attend any church. I should, but do not presently. My doctrine is a bit of a mix of the Baptists and the Pentecostals. I believe the spriritual gifts are still present in the church.

I believe in "Once Saved Always Saved." As I have gotten older, I have seen that I will never be good enough to merit heaven. That fact goes for everybody - nobody will be "good enough" to get into heaven. The only way for us humans to get into heaven is through a washing in the precious blood of Jesus. I now see humans as to weak to ever maintain their own salvation. If human salvation depended upon human strength - we are all doomed. I believe that God understands that and would not let His children wonder too far. I believe it is the Holy Spirit's job to maintain the salvation of the humans. Some people when they hear the "Once Saved Always Saved" part...well, they come back with, "Oh, so you think you can murder and not get punished." That is the completely wrong view. I view it as a Father with a 2 year old child. The Father does not let the child wander too far to get into HUGE trouble. The child can get into trouble...just not out of the Father's site and doing too much damage. There is no "Law" that the child is under...the child is only 2 years old. The child needs to learn the will and ways of his Father.

I hope that helps - it is bit of an odd post :-)

i do not find it odd. it is this kind of communication that i find it to be soul empowering.
i will permit to spell my understanding on the matter.

i agree that there is a part in humans, that will never be good enough to get to heaven.
that part which is ego driven, selfish, the animal human. The one who think there is nothing above his will, his desires, his needs. The lesser human. The flesh.

But there is another part in humans which is pure, and that is the Soul, and is that part who is true in Christ, who is altruistic, compassionate, which has no will or desires of itself, other than to be a pure temple for the Spirit to dwell into it.
Throughout history there were souls of saints and martyrs who renounced earthly life, instead of renouncing Christ.

After all by His sacrifice he put His seed in every soul. And our duty as humans is to purify the soil (our flesh), so that the seed could develop.

Those who truly follow this road form the True Church of Christ, the Community of Souls, the Bride.

The Elements are placed upon the Altar according to the Winds.
"For Osiris on-Nophris who is found perfect before the Gods, hath
said:
'These are the Elements of my Body,
Perfected through Suffering, Glorified through Trial.
For the scent of the Dying Rose is as the repressed Sigh of my
suffering:
And the flame-red Fire as the Energy of mine Undaunted Will:
And the Cup of Wine is the pouring out of the Blood of my Heart.
Sacrificed unto Regeneration, unto the Newer Life:
And the bread and Salt are as the Foundations of my Body,
Which I destroy in order that they may be renewed.
For I am Osiris Triumphant, even Osiris on-Nophris, the Justified:
I am He who is clothed with the Body of Flesh,
Yet in whom is the Spirit of the Great Gods:
I am The Lord of Life, triumphant over Death.
He who partaketh with me shall arise with me:
I am the Manifestor in Matter of Those Whose Abode is the In-visible:
I am purified: I stand upon the Universe:
I am its Reconciler with the Eternal Gods:
I am the Perfector of Matter:
And without me, the Universe is not.' "

When the time comes the wafers they swallowed will be transformed into rotten flesh and all those who swallowed it will vomit it fore.

When the time comes the wine they swallowed will transform into tainted blood and they will vomit it from their mouths.

When the time comes they will see the truth about the lie.

oh wow, I havenever heard such a concept before, you may be on to something!
Love is a state of Being. Your love is not outside; it is deep within you. You can never lose it, and it cannot leave you. You can feel the same life deep within every other human and every other creature. You look beyond the veil of form and separation. This is the realization of oneness. This is love. What is God? The Eternal One Life underneath all the forms of life. What is love? To feel the presence of that One Life deep within yourself and within all creatures. To be it. Therefore, all love is the love of God.

Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to die before you die - and find that there is no death.

...According to the Bible:
"Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew 26:26-28

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."

And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 1 Corinthians 11:24-26

Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:53-54

....well, JC seemed rather specific as to what the bread and wine became after the blessing as well as saying his followers MUST do this...JC didn't say you had to DO a lot, love God and neighbor AND Eat his Flesh and drink his blood...if JC was Satanic then leave ANY Christian church..but don't change what he said..unless you don't believe the truth of the bible,in which case you don't believe anyway...

Its not the flesh its not the blood its the spirit therein that gives life to the flesh and the blood and is con tained in them

By having Holy Communion we
1. Show our Faith that it is the Flesh , Blood and Spirit of Christ
2. We become One with Him
3.We remember the Last supper and His suffering
4.Our Spirit is renewed by His spirit contained in His body

It is the Spirutr that gave life and Resurrected the body

the body was destroyed and the Spirit Resurrected it

the Spirit was in the body

the Spirit is in the Holy Eucharist that becomes His body

and we become One

Re: The Roman Catholic Church's doctrine of transubstantiation is satanic.
...According to the Bible:

Wow, that is great...you seem to know enough about Jesus's words...can you do me one favor...can you tell what time frame that flesh you have at communion comes from? Is the flesh from the last supper...is the flesh from the time on the cross...is it from the grave...is the flesh from the present??? What time frame is the flesh you have at communion from?

Through the Spirit that gave the destroyed body eternal Life we too receive it and partake of that gift through the Holy Communion

He has meant the bread is His new body. Not the bread becoming flesh. Which by His own words "counts for nothing".

Useless to talk to believers without profound knowledge of the Bible. You stay pagan. And idolatrous.
