I'm only speaking from experience regarding what I felt when I took the wafer.
Years ago I didn't feel anything, but over the years I've become more sensitive to things and how it makes me feel. Although I have not participated in the church for a very long time, I remember a sense of peace and calm after receiving the sacramental bread. There was nothing satanic about it - only healing. I'm guessing that transubstantiation is just a gift from the Holy Spirit that descends down to the priest and goes to the wafers to bless it.
Just my experience.
Quoting: Water Flower Then you truly do not understand the doctrine of transubstantiation...and according to the Roman Catholic Church are commiting a sin. The RCC says that the wafer is transformed LITERALLY into the human flesh of Jesus. Under the doctrine of transubstantiation there is no wiggle room...it is THE FLESH OF JESUS...that just "looks" like bread...you are to believe that it has been transformed into the literal flesh of Jesus. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24011342 Apparently u don't understand it either! You are not catholic, go back y To your rock band, Starbucks drinking in church, service Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27942142 Wow - you are clueless! I was raised in the RCC.
