Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24011342 Then you truly do not understand the doctrine of transubstantiation...and according to the Roman Catholic Church are commiting a sin. The RCC says that the wafer is transformed LITERALLY into the human flesh of Jesus. Under the doctrine of transubstantiation there is no wiggle room...it is THE FLESH OF JESUS...that just "looks" like bread...you are to believe that it has been transformed into the literal flesh of Jesus. Apparently u don't understand it either! You are not catholic, go back y To your rock band, Starbucks drinking in church, service Wow - you are clueless! I was raised in the RCC. I know better....you don't even know your own doctrine. Here let me help... [link to www.catholic-legate.com] Oh your so wise!!! Because you were raised catholic? Why did the original disciples practice transsubstantiation? They were his direct followers.. Think I'll follow their direction, than some hateron GLP You are misguided. The original church did not believe in transubstantiation. The term did not come into play until much later... [link to en.wikipedia.org] I'm the hater? I did not teach you false doctrine. You are now defending something you did not understand within the last hour. You stated I was wrong for thinking that transubstantiation meant literal transformation into flesh...you questioned that. Hitler would have loved having soldiers just like you...clueless to a doctrine...but willing to defend it! |

You do your thing we will do ours But no. Thats not how it works. That generates wars and strike when one tries to force feed their beliefs on another. You dont like the Catholic Church? Ok fine no problem. I do Can a Roman Catholic believe in abortion and still go to the Roman Catholic church? It happens all the time here in the US. Our politicians are typical for just such ways...they believe abortion is OK, but, they still attend the Roman Catholic church. What level of hypocrisy is acceptable? What level of hypocrisy is unacceptable? Can somebody not believe in a doctrine of the RCC...and still call themselves Roman Catholic? Remember, Jesus did not say that He only came to bring peace...but, also strife. The belief in Jesus has separated many families. At some point in your ancestry...somebody left whatever belief system was the "family" belief system of the time and became Christian. You are at that point today. Do you question the doctrine of transubstantiation or do you ignore any questions about it. You can not roll back time. The question is before you...I am sorry if you do not like that :-) You have a bigger fear...I will answer the question for you...yes, it does roll "down hill" from there. If you question the Roman Catholic church on transubstantiation...you WILL question other doctrine as well. May God bless you in your choice! I most definitely DO NOT question the miracle of the Holy Eucharist |

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 1 Corinthians 11:24-26 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:53-54 ....well, JC seemed rather specific as to what the bread and wine became after the blessing as well as saying his followers MUST do this...JC didn't say you had to DO a lot, love God and neighbor AND Eat his Flesh and drink his blood...if JC was Satanic then leave ANY Christian church..but don't change what he said..unless you don't believe the truth of the bible,in which case you don't believe anyway... He has meant the bread is His new body. Not the bread becoming flesh. Which by His own words "counts for nothing". Twisted any way you want.. to make you and OP sound like you know what you are talking about... Useless to talk to believers without profound knowledge of the Bible. You stay pagan. And idolatrous. |
