Post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy.

After this, therefore because of this.

What else has happened recently? Oh, oh: Hurricane Sandy happened, THEN these layoffs happened; therefore, Hurricane Sandy caused these layoffs.

Israel attacked Gaza, THEN some of these layoffs happened; therefore, war caused these layoffs.

etc., etc.

Wrong - Yes, they were in trouble already, like the American economy as a whole is in deep trouble after 4 years of Obama.

But if Romney HAD BEEN ALLOWED TO WIN - VOTE FRAUD RAMPANT...

Those companies would have had some hope that they could keep these people employed.

As it is, the Obamacare Cookie Monster is on the loose.

Confidence in America?

Confidence in Obama's leadership?

The people who hire and fire have made their choices.

Sorry, it's reality.

Bullshit..

I know people that were struggling and would have survived long enough until Romney was elected and helped them with taxes, EPA, and Obamacare.

They threw their hands up in the air and bailed out after Obama was elected.

You don't know shit about running a business, I can tell just by that stupid statement you made.

No, they all weren't. Many of them cannot stay in business with the changes coming in tax code and enforcement of ObamaCare coming....it'll cost them too much to pay for insurance/or penalties. Better to cut their losses.

The business OWNERS will probably be fine. Probably already have other "investments" or other streams of income. It's the workers who are fucked.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that, obot.

Every business in America was waiting for a Romney victory to peel back the state shroud that Obama's treasonous insanity has spread across the land.

But instead, they were treated to the realization that there is no point in being productive in this country for at least another 4 years. Moochers have won.

my employees were told over a month ago that if O was reelected, there would be a 20% layoff and a 20% reduction in the salaries of the remaining workers.

They were told in advance so they could find another job to support their family. Although they have been trying, not a single person has left the company - BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FIND A JOB.

A week from Monday, i will be laying off the 20% - it is actually going to be about 23%. No reason to wait until January - might as well get it done now.

Business owners will not feel the pain, they can adjust. Employees are the one's that Obama will hurt - they just don't know it yet.

Although I didn't go this route, many of my business owner friends are only laying off Democrats. They are not yet a protected class..

Too bad - I'm firing some really good people.

Sad day in America.

Acutally it is much higher than that.

Think about all the spin off jobs....

Janitorial services, waste disposal, electricians, IT staff and equipment, law firms that were contracted with them, the list is endless.

Think about everything Hostess consumed....flour, wheat, sugar....toner for the printers, internet and networking services....mechanics to fix their fleet of trucks..

I mean fuck ...there are another 4 thousand jobs going away with this demise.

The costs are much higher, and the losses are much deeper.

It's a lot worse than that, consider the number of companies where the lay offs are not even being reported. Probably double to triple your figures. Then add in the companies that are reducing labor hours by 25% at least, and the companies that have marginalized full time positions into part time. All this in just the past two weeks, very scary. And it will be ten times worse in January, and then add in the slashing of companies that planned on creating new jobs and expanding new building/locations,and now plan on wiping out all those development plans because of the anti-Christ supposed re-election and obamcare. And, what happens when the post office goes under next year? Everyone,be prepared for Armageddon, hell on earth.

Unless if 12/21/12 happens and no more planet earth, then you wont have to worry about it. You all better start praying for December 21st. You don't want to live the nightmare that would be starting 2013.

Re: Since Obama’s re-election: over 100,000 layoffs at more than 125 businesses (so far)
my employees were told over a month ago that if O was reelected, there would be a 20% layoff and a 20% reduction in the salaries of the remaining workers.

I doubt you have a business and if you do, you are not fit to run it.

I did that 2 weeks ago. 12 people gone.
Sad thing was, none of them were Democrats because there isn't a Democrat in the world I'd hire in the first place.
