Massive layoffs are coming people. Think about it. How many of you are spending less for Christmas this year? How many have forgone a new car because they are unsure about their job? And we all know buying or selling s house right now is stupid. |

Oh boy, you people are rich. Typical uneducated right wingers. |

When TSHTF, you'll find out if your preparations were good enough or not. No matter what happens, you'll not like it. Crime rate, social misery, starving and maybe outright war is not something to look forward to. No matter where you're coming from, it is nice being able to go on vacation, or just spend an evening at the movies and having a dinner with your family. All that might ground to a halt. If there even are any new movies coming out that is. No TV, at best the emergency broadcasting service. If you have electric to run it ofcourse. And obviously, internet is likely to be one of the first casualties. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2257547 They were told in advance so they could find another job to support their family. Although they have been trying, not a single person has left the company - BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FIND A JOB. A week from Monday, i will be laying off the 20% - it is actually going to be about 23%. No reason to wait until January - might as well get it done now. Business owners will not feel the pain, they can adjust. Employees are the one's that Obama will hurt - they just don't know it yet. Although I didn't go this route, many of my business owner friends are only laying off Democrats. They are not yet a protected class.. Too bad - I'm firing some really good people. Sad day in America. I doubt you have a business and if you do, you are not fit to run it. Actually, I own two. I'm getting below the magic number of employees to escape Obummercare. I would rather be smaller and profitable without dealing with the Govertnment than larger and less profitable while keeping DC happy. I'm not going to put myself in a position to deal with them. I'll remain smaller and do just fine. I'll pay less to government in sales tax and with fewer employees, less in social security as well - not to mention no Obummercare for my companies. Less in, but much less out. I win. Business owners can adjust. Employees will get the short end of Obummers plans. Sad. It is sad. I have my own little show. Couple of contracts that pay the bills, with enough left for beer and silver. Occasionally I have a cash contractor take over if I want some time off. I know I could grow the business and hire more people. It would allow me much more time off. But...that would mean dealing with liberal control freaks, and it would only be a matter of time before I went postal. ![]() |

How could all of these companies all of a sudden do mass layoffs? They were failing anyway, also who will run the companies? All because these corporations are MAD they can't get the puppet Romney elected to help them continue to rape the people and the country. Go ahead and lay off. The American will survive anyway. These are companies who didnt care about their employees anyway and are using this as an excuse. |

Probably double to triple your figures. Then add in the companies that are reducing labor hours by 25% at least, and the companies that have marginalized full time positions into part time. All this in just the past two weeks, very scary. And it will be ten times worse in January, and then add in the slashing of companies that planned on creating new jobs and expanding new building/locations,and now plan on wiping out all those development plans because of the anti-Christ supposed re-election and obamcare. And, what happens when the post office goes under next year? Everyone,be prepared for Armageddon, hell on earth. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26718825 Unless if 12/21/12 happens and no more planet earth, then you wont have to worry about it. You all better start praying for December 21st. You don't want to live the nightmare that would be starting 2013. Bump times a trillion. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
