Lol, hardly desperate... I am living the good life. The first half of my life sucked. I am happy and don't care whoknows it. We all know a fit body is something money can't buy. If you got it at age 40, flaunt it so those mean, fat, high school cows and washed up, bald guys from hs can feel bad about how they didn't age so gracefully, lol.... Payback bitches!!!

Lol, there is this one chubby girl from hs, she pretends to be so sweet and caring. In hs she was a stuck snob. Now she posts her work outs on her treadmill everyday for the last year, and she is still FAT, lol. I love it. The people that peaked in hs are so weathered and fat now.

And shes always posting anti bullying crap, yet she and her friends were the biggest bullies in hs. Stuck up, mean and clique. I just laugh at them all now, they are trying so hard to live in the glory days of hs, with the stories they tell, but most of them have never travelled or even left their hometown. Facebook gives them that false sense that anyone still gives a fuck. I post my awesome pics, cuz, well, i'm awesome. And they lnow it, lol.

Yes. I don't have people that I don't know though on mine. My entire family is on there so it helps to keep in touch with a lot them that don't live near me. I don't worry about the gov't tracking me via fb, they don't need fb to do that. I also learn just as much, if not more, on fb than I do on here.

My whole family is on Facebook. Yes, I heve one too but my family is scattered all over so I check to see how everyone is. If I cancel my Facebook I'm sure my kids would take it as an insult and get all pissed off. I never say much., just check in .

I don't like it, as someone has said, it just seems somewhat creepy to me, imagine, a single organisation having so much information about so many people, who also gladly upload that information voluntarily, it's like KGBs wet dream or something... Nevertheless, the thing seems to have become the mainstream and almost only generally acceptable way of online communication and information sharing, like it or not, things necessary unless you are some sort of hermit. Sure there is still a Windows Messenger (soon to be Skype, LOL) and a bunch of instant messaging and social networking sites, but most of people I know is now only or mainly on FB, and it's like not having a bloody profile is as weird for people as saying that I have five hands or something... I loathe myself for that, but yes, I have Facebook, out of social pressure...

My experience on FB was similiar, but I found that people with hundreds of friends would leave cryptic posts or "eCards" on their walls with those sarcastic sayings, and basically after a while it becomes a 'who can insult who' contest.

I fell into the drama once too, posted some stuff directed at a specific person who kept flirting with me (or so I thought) and when I asked him if he like me he said no, he like another girl. So I left some stuff on my wall that I knew would piss him off if he in fact did like me... well he de-friended me and then had our mutual friends leave cryptic messages on their walls. so I deleted them, LOL... what a retarded place that is. Adults that cannot even be real with each other or HONEST (we are all over 40). There is no reason to lie when you are over 40, if you can't communicate in an adult fashion, you deserve to be trapped in the facebook vortex of drama.

After a long time one of his closest friends sent me an email wanting to be friends again... I was like, um, no, I am not stupid (she just wanted to get info on me to report back to him), if he can't strap on a pair of balls, email me and apologize for lying to me when I considered him an awesome friend at the time, then I have no use for a person like that in my life in this day and age of mega doom... you got to be able to trust people and talk honestly. Why would I let that trash back in? to be lied to again, lol? I think not, too many other quality people in the world to focus on, liars are not worth it. History just repeats itself.

Its just amazing that FB is still so popular, I often creep some of the people I deleted walls' because some of them are so stupid they leave them open to the PUBLIC/everyone and its just amazing how years after we all got on FB some of them are still posting the same BS everyday, sometime 2 or 3 times a day... WHEN do people get any work done? Of course it does explain why some of the women are so fat, they are on FB ALL DAY, lol.

Yep i do. I like to keep up with what my family and friends are upto. I think most people have facebook, its just the way times are going. Im not to concerned about my privacy, it has my age and town I live in, if someone cared that much about those details I'm sure they would be able to find them somewhere else too.

I recently opened one to use to post news articles on our corrupt government. I keep my personal info to myself and use a fake name.

I figured Im already being monitored in every other way, so I might as well make a statement in the process.

No, anyone with any real sense needs to analyse Face Book.

We were presented with a movie of Zuckerburg's success at forming facebook.

However in reality it was stolen from the winklevoss twins.
Also portrayed in the movie was how his friend was cheated out of his shares of facebook.

All revovling around their lawsuits against him. How was he able to settle, or payoff the twins and restored his freinds share.

How did Facebook a mass any wealth what so ever to acguire lawyers, and payoff the twins. This was before any public stock offering. So who financed facebook up until its public stock option?

That being said, Zukerburg created another data minning website for the NSA called facebook. Its apparent stock offering was also over priced. Who is his mentors? Well he is jewish!

If nothing else, Facebook had become a great place to LAUGH at what people do and say and the DELUSION so many of them exist in. I can't say that I don't use it, cuz I do, I just have too much fun laughing at some people. You got to laugh in this day and age with all the doom around.
