If you guys are so concerned with the gov keeping track or your life or movements, then why don't you take the 10 minutes to make a fake out profile where you do everything the opposite or near opposite of your real life. When you go to grandmas house for thanksgiving in Florida, put on your fake facebook page that you went to china and post some generic google image of china. Simple and very effective and will really throw them off your tracks.

I have a facebook and have pretty much no personal info there, I just share links and have friends who share links too and that's it. Also do a good amount of debate in there and have some groups about interests and such. No personal shit revealed.
