You Attack Obama As An Opiate Because You Have No Solutions To Inflation. Whose Does? | |

I'm not saying its right, but it is how they see it. Inflation is deliberately sought by the Federal Reserve. It is well known, and they discuss it often The Fed chairman's view is that his mandate is to support a basic level of inflation and to help create it when necessary. They desire controlled inflation At the moment, the Fed is deliberately pursuing policies meant to re-inflate the value of assets....especially those assets held in private and state pension funds. They have been doing this aggressively for over 6 years Okay you asked for it, here's the long answer "They" do not care if famlies pay higher prices at the pump and supermarket. Those higher prices don't show up on the official measures of inflation anyway I don't know why more people do not know that inflation is a deliberate policy. That is why your representative seems unconcerned about it As far as our government is concerned, there is no inflation crisis and there will not be one until prices are far higher than there are now But, for what it is worth, yes Obama is partially to blame for this because Chairmen Ben Bernanke (also known as "helicopter Ben" for his promise years ago to flood the market with US dollars to create inflation and stop deflation/depression) is supported by Obama, and he will probably renew his contract whwen it comes up for renewal Had the other guy won, they had already said they would nominate Hubbards, a much more hawkish Fed Chief, and for a few days before the US election the US dollar was climbing and gold was falling anticipating another return to Paul Volcker like policies of the 1980s, which finally killed the 1970s Carter era rampant inflation And btw, Obama sought the job. If you choose to become a public figure, especially president, you better have thick skin. No one made him seek it, and if he gets used as a punching bag (your term "human shield" makes no sense...), then what I say is GROW THE FUCK UP. Every president gets flack. As Harry Truman said: THE BUCK STOPS HERE Nixon became the biggest punching bag and was eventually impeached. People attacked and threatened to impeach FDR. People attacked and criticized Lincoln and ended up killing him, as they did Kennedy Guess what: BEING PRESIDENT OF THE USA IS A HARD AND DANGEROUS JOB, AND PEOPLE WILL BLAME YOU FOR CRAP It was true 200 years ago, it's true today, no matter which party you belong to, Lots of good and smart people don't want the job for precisely that reason If you can't take the heat, stay out of the fckng kitchen, as they say. Your guy wanted the job, so let him worry about it. He's a big boy, he can handle it |
