The progressives have destroyed the USA. So sad until we revolt to force change back to civility instead of 'the nit-picky society'. I dunno. We may have lost our innocence in the 50's when we sent under equipped and undermanned troops to die in Korea... then insulted them by calling the war a 'Police Action'. |

And Saturday mornings were the best. ....and my sticker book, my charm necklace collection, my boom box....never did get those jelly shoes I wanted, though. As far as the cereal being better...they had better prizes! Remember wacky wall crawlers? And one time, I got a record out of the froot loops box, and played it on my awesome little 45 :) |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 18074896 11/19/2012 12:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I miss the 80's....it was the last decade where things were still normal in the world and you could still enjoy your daily lives before the world started to get a little too hectic and crazy in the 90's, not to mention insanely overpopulated. The world's population totaled 4.8 billion in 1985. Now we're at 7.1 billion. the 80's was the golden age, and we've been in collapse mode ever since, as we continue to descend towards the tenth level of hell. Quoting: 80's come back 27688679 Ronald Reagan, The A-Team, Bird vs. Magic, the Cosby Show, Growing Pains, Jerry curls, MTV used to actually play music videos..... The 80's were the last decade where the world was still an enjoyable, somewhat normal place. Starting right around 1990 everything went to shit. Could not agree more. I remember the 90's being a decade that made me nauseous. The music REALLY turned to shit, as well. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 18074896 11/19/2012 12:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yup. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15751650 In the 80s I was growing up in a large city and we were allowed to walk to school without worry, plus we could leave out bikes outside without worrying about them being stolen. It was not that bad. exactly. There was still crime, there's always been crime, but nowadays our cities resemble third world countries and you feel like you're walking through a war zone if you walk through a major American City....it's like being a soldier in Afghanistan...you literally feel like at any second someone's going to through a grenade at you. The higher the population count goes, the more impossible our daily lives become...and the more sick and twisted pop culture becomes, the more sick and twisted we become. We've reached our limit. And yet... The brain-dead lemmings will CONTINUE to crank out redundant baggy panted, sideways hatted, pierced and tatted clones, almost as if it were some kind of contest, to see just how far we could ratchet up the misery index. Especially the cockroach illegal aliens. |
