There have been quite a few photos of these so called giant skeletons published over some time. At least some of them were fake, made for art projects and the like. Not saying all of them are fake, but you never know.

why can't you say all the photos are faked?

Because we don't know for sure. There were giants living in the earth at one time.

The guy in the youtube videos drives me nuts. He repreatedly say pacific, when he means to say specific. Makes me nuts.

how about the stories related, and printed, and photos taken before the advent of digital technology and photo manipulation?

sorry to tell you but the world hasn't always had the photoshop and there are many in this world old enough to recall hearing these stories 50 years ago when they were either new or ALREADY OLD.

Good point Mordier, there are hundreds of old articles from Washington Post archives, New York Times etc. which record burials in Ohio and Wisconsin, of huge giants 8 feet or 9 feet tall with massive bones found in the 1890's and 1920's. One found in France made it into a science journal, the limb bones were twice as thick and long as normal, so the anthropologist [D. G De Lapouge] estimated the man was 11 feet tall. These are the largest the real giants get, 8, 9 , 10, maybe 11 or 11 1/2 feet.

The fakes I'm speaking of are the notorious frauds which have swept the internet since 2004 which clearly are doctored and have zero credibility when you check their initial sources.
The big skeletons of ancient chieftains and warriors found in these Indian mounds and ancient Celtic. Gaulic burials are another story altogether.

Your average Roman Legion soldier was about 5 feet 6 or 5 ft 7, so these giants getting as large as 8 to 9 feet would have been nearly double the height of normal men, and you get some guys standing 10 or 11 feet and that would be absolutely frightening. Even the largest giants the Bible tells about didn't exceed 9 or 11 feet.

i totally agree with you that there's too much photoshop out there.

i've heard reliable accounts of giant skeletons in the british museum, apparently there used to be a 15 footer on display, with a 30+ footer that was kept in the back in secret.

and then there are the tribes of the solomon islands....say what you want about quayle but his reports of those are accurate.
