Re: HD TV Conspiracy
Look closely at any TV new or old, regardless of age the quality of the picture has decreased and gone somewhat grainy, whereas on the new LCD LED OMFGWTFBBQ HD TV's it looks "normal".

...Or maybe I'm going a tad blind.

Re: HD TV Conspiracy
Seriously?! If you have a nice HD tv and cable service, flip between ESPN and ESPN HD during a football game. The difference is night and day in color, contrast, sharpness, every aspect of the picture looks better. Watch a DVD side by side with a Blu ray of a movie like the Avengers. Again, HUGE difference. You're either blind or have a shitty HD tv.

the other conspiracies more relevant then OP's is the digital audio and high def make it better to use subliminal messages, and highly propagandize the population. You do not want to be watching TV the day they decide to turn you all into real zombies, activating the morgellons and then sicking you on those who haven't...

Re: HD TV Conspiracy
- If OP is watching programs produced in standard def on his HDTV, it's not going to look like HD.

- HD does have its own set of picture quality problems, so it's not as good as it could be. (Probs like tiling out, posterization, etc.)

Re: HD TV Conspiracy
there really is a conspiracy here,
as soon as they where ready for full blown world wide weather manipulation (2010),
haarp needs all nexrad/cell tower/tv radio towers to transmit the ULF/VHF waves any where all the time meaning a altrenative (HD) was needed,:

so the mass mediahype began, honestly HDis easer to be disrupted, but seeing how you already spent all the money on the big flat screen, ect. you already got suckered, like you had a choice....
any way now with haarp running fully and building more...
no one could recive a clear picture over the 1,000,000,000 Volts fireing over head day and night..

Re: HD TV Conspiracy
HDTV can be poor quality... shuttering, artifacts, or outages, plus you have to have a lot more expensive equipment to view HDTV and you need an subscription...

They got rid of analog TV because it was harder to put in subliminal images and they wanted people to buy the newer HDTV's with cameras installed in it.

But the fact is, you cannot view HD TV without an appropriate TV, equipment, and subscription.

The question is... Why was the government SO EAGER to get people to go over to Digital?

It's possible to pick up broadcast HD, but you have to have a new antenna.

As far as to why, the official reasoning was to clear up airspace for more cellphone and other electronic devices.

Analog broadcast took up a lot of airspace. The digital broadcast is a much narrower band.

Wrong an sdtv antenna is the same as a HDTV antenna. Look it up on google and you will see its a scam to get more money on the name only.

Either way, you don't necessarily need to buy any kind of subscription. You can indeed pick up HD broadcast. And hey, you can keep your old antennas too.
