I had no intention to demean, nor was I implying necessarily that you fit that particular description. I do wish to dispel the programming given to use by our media and literature. It is designed to destroy relationships and create unrealistic expectations.

Once you know what you really need and are grounded in the truth, the entire mating/courtship game becomes a simple calculus of making oneself available to the good things that God has planned for you.

Oh one more thing you should know. God will often choose people with flaws or who offer us certain challenges as partners/friends/mates. That too is part of the character building process we all face. Again there is no perfect soul mate, and such a person, if he or she existed, is probably the wrong person for you LOL.
