Could it be that the Ambassador got info that the Libyan surface to air missiles that turned up missing were being funneled to Hamas and Hezbollah to use against Israel ?
From the rumors, one of the guys killed was tracking down these SA-7 shoulder fired missiles. They captured some Al-CIA-duh flunkies that spilled the beans, the Ambassador was not on board and threatened to make the info public.
The current admin needed him silenced and gave the "enemy" the time and place and ordered a stand down of any rescue assets while the were being taken out.
Remember, Obama is in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Rumors of multiple Israeli Drones and Jets being shot down seem to confirm that Hamas has surface to air capability all of the sudden (if true)!
