Anonymous Coward User ID: 24392638 United States 11/18/2012 09:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what was the true purpose of the human you call jesus Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1747431 this could be a very lively debate :) Mankind at that time were not much above animals. He gave us guidelines on how to live, how to grow, that there was more to life than the physical life we were experiencing. He taught that there was life after life, which invalidated the current religion and put a price on his head. THAT was why he was a threat to TPTB of the time. If people knew there was life after death, then there was no way TPTB could control the population. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1747431 "Gnosis" knowledge and wisdom collide... Wisdom is experience, knowledge is empty without experience. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5221698 But gentiles who believe in christ and keep the COMMANDMENTS will make it into the Kingdom. Do you really think a loving God would create his children and then subject them to who can and who can't make it into his kingdom? I don't think so, but the church can and did, in order to keep you under their thumb. They called you a sinner if you didn't obey church law, laws they created to keep you in the dark about what life is really about. Laws that steep you in guilt and that you lap up and then bless them for it by giving them your hard-earned money. Next time you're in church, listen to what goes on there. Listen to the sermon. LISTEN to all the words. The emphasis is on nothing but sin and the devil waiting to get his claws into you. Sin, sin, sin! Nothing but sin talk. Never any God talk. And you sit there and take it like you think you should. One of these days you'll wake up, but not until you're ready. For your sake, I hope it's soon. |

No longer "Eye for an Eye." He came to demonstrate "Love no matter what." He used the means of his time to convey this message. Though many could walk on water in those days, few could also die, as an act of ultimation. Wax on Wax off |

What is his famous saying about the camel and the eye of a needle? Quoting: King Julian The Boy Prophet It wasn't that he didn't see a point to money, he didn't like that the bankers were fleecing the people, making "free" money with their high fees and keeping the people in financial chains. That's what made him mad. |

But when it comes down to it, what seperates the classes? Surely not able-ness of body, or richness of spirit? It's blooooood money. Judas didn't want it, he hung himself. Judas, the true disciple. |

How we are suppose to treat the planet...How to treat all of life. I guess he needs to come back again because it seems to me that most of us forgot everything he had to say.. What a shame. |

To complete His seventh and final incarnational experience upon unevolved developing worlds prior to receiving His crown as the Supreme Ruler of the created universe. 2. To reveal the love of the Eternal Father in heaven to wayward souls and to direct them following death to be liberated from the self imposed patterns of enslavement and suffering (sin) which were preventing those who wished to return to the Father from being able to do so. 3. To crush the manifested after effects Luciferian rebellion on this planet which has been continuing to hold souls in a pattern of self destructive behavior/evil/sin; as it does to this very day especially since those forces have regathered yet again in these "modern times". ...this is just my opinion (from memory) from my reading of the Urantia Book thus far.
