What is the point in living?
I must be at the end of my life. Seems like that is the big question that everyone asks when you realize it's over....and what was it all for?

Bright idea whoever had it, just phenomenal. If they asked me about it and I complied I am a fucking moron.
"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.

Maybe the point is to look.

Watch children at play. Watch a kitten enjoying it's life...living in the moment.

Look at the snow covered Alps. Watch a sunrise or sunset.

Look at elephants or ants. A waterfall or maybe a forest.

Get out and walk and look. Or look on the internet for things in another country.

The point is to vitalize your brain, eyes and emotions all at the same time.

Life is very short and it is up to you to explore what nature itself gives you. The sky, the stars, the plants, the life forms.

Soon enough you will be dead like all before you.

Re: What is the point in living?
This life is only ONE of many. It is what we do to avoid the boredom of eternity. Can you imagine having to die, then spend efucking eternty sitting on a pink cloud worshiping a god who is just as bored?

Crap, even roasting in that hell of yours would get boring. After awile you are just freaking done cooking. So we recycle with new bodies that remember nothing of our past lives. That is how we stayed entertained throughout time. We probably make bets with our fellow waiting-souls as to what we will do in our next time in the flesh.

In between living chapters we enjoy the fellowship of other people we shared the adventures with. Can you imagine how many men or women you have REALLY slept with? We return to live lives we "deserve" depending on the kindness or evil we exhibited in former lives.

So cheer up. You are living in the most interesting time in modern history. Fight to see tomarrow...it could be exciting. The end will come when it does. Till then, show kindness you would like to have shown you...someday.chorusflowas

Flowers to you, too! Thanks and to all who have answered. I am pretty happy. I just was wondering as it all seems pretty futile! I was a nurse and that was pretty much what everyone wanted to know at the end. Been wondering myself lately. Just live and be kind to others, I guess.

Re: What is the point in living?
maybe to understand we have been divided, and an essence of ourselves is here, but not all of what we are. And to want that. To work towards that. Not be influenced by what is here. Understand the nature of here. Not to join in with what is here. To undo what has been stored in your hard drive since birth here. Not that that would be easy, or even remotely possible, when family and friends, society, culture and country, God as presented etc has been in our faces from day one, along with all other distractions and things absorbed that influence the organism and therefor the consciousness, be it divided or not.

If you are at the end of your life, then you are not your life.

After all, if you are aware of something, then you are not it - you're the one who is aware of it.

So who is aware of the ending of your life?

Who was aware of your life for your whole life?

Who is aware of the fact that you slept?

Who is aware of your dreams?

Who is aware?

The best question would be why worry sick about finances and money and politics. Before we even realize all the beautiful moments are gone. And at the end you cant take your 401k with you or your house or your car. All you take is Love. The little moments, the memories, the emotions. Peace man.

I have the same question.

No one knows

All this struggle to grow up, learn hard, get a job, marry , have kids, kids study, kids grow up, kids get jobs...

So what dd we end up telling our kids - do the same like our Parents did - passing the torch on - feels rhetorical

^^This is nice!!^^

and any other little (or big) thing you can get a kick out of.

Life can drudge on (for some!), but do you remember when you were a very small child?

Ever watch a playful puppy? Before they turn into old, cranky mutts? The literally jump in mid-stride just out of the buzz of being alive.

and remember, EVERYBODY feels this way one time or another.
