I can't find any Hostess products in the stores around me. Can't believe how quickly they were snatched up.

I guess it's because "opportunists" are reselling them on ebay:

Late Friday and Saturday, the opportunists took to the websites eBay and Craigslist. They began marketing their hoard to whimsical collectors and junk-food lovers for hundreds -- and in some cases -- thousands of dollars. That's a fat profit margin, when you consider the retail price for a box of 10 Twinkies is roughly $5.

twinkees are about the only product in their lineup that I had any interest in. I find little debbie shit much better... they should just buy the rights to the twinkie brand and take over production.

I just checked ebay and an auction listing for 1 box of Twinkies just sold for $25.99! Another one ended shortly after, for 4 boxes--final bid was $81.00!

What is the Twinkie defense? It dates back to a 1979 murder case in San Francisco (dramatized in the movie "Milk") in which ex-cop-turned-politician Dan White shot and killed fellow politicians Harvey Milk and George Moscone. News reports called White's defense the "Twinkie defense," but in reality, Twinkies were barely even mentioned at trial.

White was eventually acquitted of murder, though he didn't entirely escape justice. While Hostess snack cakes were indeed part of the evidence, they weren't used in the way people think.

In my opinion, another American company that will elect not use union workers will purchase the Hostess Company if you consider our dismal economic conditions, compounded by the restrictions, of obamacare and the excessive taxation it brings makes unions unsustainable.

I won't buy food from a mexican company , fuck them greasy dirty unsanitary pieces of shit. watch then cook on the line and you will never eat anything they touch ever again.
