Explosion On Southside
JACKSONVILLE -- The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department is on the scene of an explosion on the Southside. Tom Francis, JFRD Public Information Officer, says an explosion occurred at 7575 Baymeadows Way that resulted in the release of radioactive materials.
Unison Industries, which according to their website manufactures aviation equipment, is located at the site.
JFRD says one person was transported to St. Luke's Hospital. During the medical treatment radioactive levels were detected. Francis says the levels detected were similar to those in x-ray, which are not life threatening.
Approximately 40 people were evacuated from the Unison Industries building.

Stick a geiger counter out the window. See if it ticks.
Otherwise watch the birds. Plop, no good.
Also watch the evil brothers see if they try martial law.
P.S. look for FEMA. They have a habit of getting on the scene before the fact. [link to www.cyberspaceorbit.com] |

i'm usually just a reader, and posted some facts that got deleted - not sure what i did or phrased properly to get deleted.
so, i'll try again and hopefully am politically correct this time - if not, please let me know what i'm doing wrong.
go to sptimes site, and search archives for "equifax" and "cancer" - has to do with location here.
media did not report all that was going on, for i was there, and knew the people and far more afflicted than reported.
epa ended investigation because didn't know what to test for, because who they were asking said it was not an issue of nat. sec. |

"MARCH
OSHA notifies Equifax Payment Services that three employees have filed a complaint saying they have lost their hair and raising questions about radiation. Company tests find no radiation, so Equifax posts a response to the complaint on bulletin boards but otherwise keeps quiet.
MARCH-APRIL
Company pays for further extensive environmental tests but still can't find an explanation for the reported hair loss problem.
JULY
OSHA notifies Equifax that 11 more employees have concerns about their health, ranging from hair loss to cancer, asthma, even birth defects. Because OSHA doesn't require posting of this news, Equifax executives keep quiet about it.
AUG. 16
The St. Petersburg Times reports that OSHA is investigating. The next day, Equifax executives start employee meetings to address concerns.
LAST WEEK
A series of OSHA tests also is inconclusive, so now the company is trying to figure out what other types of tests it can run. Equifax also is interviewing 82 employees who voiced concerns about working in the facility."

They are very close to each other.

So I guess a hypothesis would be, Something happened at Equifax, and Unison was the scapegoat? It's a stretch...my wild guesses are usually wrong though.

For a long time only 1/2 the building was utilized. Mystery remains why took the other 1/2 so long to open up, which became IT services.
Landfill is across the street.
Not too far away is "The Star Center" on Bryan Dairy. Lovely name, isn't it?
The east side is rented by a contracting firm well known (R...theon) Employees will quit before go to that location because of high levels of radiation. Monthly testing done, and all that is said is just don't drink the water, etc.
Next door some jerks tried to open a DAYCARE center!!! Closed down quick because no one came.
And then there is the old H site in Tampa that finally was designated a super fund clean up side. Took years, though. |
