Going completely healthy could be bad for you if doom hits wherever you live and you end up having to live off of some things that aren't too good for you. I think having a balanced diet, even with some bad things in it, is the healthiest way to go. People's bodies also respond differently to different types of diets depending on blood type, genetics, location, etc. Saying there is a universally perfect diet just doesn't work. Plus, let's say you manage to afford a completely organic diet at $500ish a month per person. Maybe the stress of trying to afford or keep up with such a diet would be detrimental to your overall health, as stress is even worse sometimes than bad food. Look over your individual situation and consider what is best for you. Nobody else can decide for you, but consider all factors, and most of all don't stress over it. |

Unless you're really trying to be a guina pig, I don't see why someone would test this :) In addition to being boring, I can't imagine it's the HEALTHIEST thing for you to eat. Anyway, TC, serious answer: the healthiest diet would be one with a LOT of fruits and vegetables. Past that it's debated wither animal or plant are better for you (In the form of crabs vs protein) I'd say strike a balance. Processed foods are generally bad for you. Not TERRIBLE but they're generally inferior to more healthy natural foods that are more expensive. |
