I have heard that the average person in Iran has a neutral to favorable opinion of the United States. Is this true?

As far as the internet goes, are you free to browse what sites you want, post what you want, blog what you want? Or are a lot of websites blocked? Would anti-regime postings get you in trouble?

And lastly, do the people of Iran fear the government, regard it as oppressive? Or do they see it as just and fair? Would you say most are "in support" of the current regime?

No we are not. The government restricts political activism against itself and the ayatollah Khamenei. If you do and they find out, you go to prison.

Everyone fears their government. There is no such thing as fair in our world my friend. Most are not in support of it, nor are they in support of western governments.
