That is why the waking world seems so "solid" and "impersonal" to most people most of the time.

The reality and the power to form it is shared (through our consent) among many countless consciousnesses, unlike dreams, which often have much less outside interference in the number of awareness's that form those particular realities.

I strongly suspect that there are certain individuals who have more attention energy than others, and consequently affect the group reality more than others.

The spirit world, or that is to say the energetic view of the world that underlies apparent physicality, works rather like a sort of legal system, with a series of laws, contracts and agreements. (There is even corruption and bribery on lower levels!)

It is at that moment, seconds before waking, where one has the especially powerful opportunity to shape what reality one will wake up to. One may "put in a request" just before they sign the "Contract of Transition", or "Consolidation of Memory".

I can attest to strangely miraculous results, requests being granted, unsolvable problems being answered, but I am more often indifferent and go along with whatever fine-print the spirit "lawyers" happened to put down for the day.
