Canada 11/19/2012 04:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Spanish police facing pay cuts march against austerity in Madrid Just like all the protestors told them... one day the system will screw the police in the ass just like everyone else. The day has come. Last week the stupid pigs were gleefuly busting protestor heads, this week they find out their pensions are are getting cut and their Christmas bonus is getting eliminated, and they're marching themselves. One banner at the march read, "Citizens! Forgive us for not arresting those truly responsible for this crisis: bankers and politicians."Uh huh... you can bet that the moment the system capitulates amd reinstates the pension and bonus cuts, those same pigs will be right back in their riot gear busting heads again. Where has common sense or critical thinking disappeared to these days? Those cops should have seen the writing on the wall. Well, maybe the protestors will get a few squads of well-equipped cop compatriots. |

First they marched in protest at their own cuts and then a few days later they were in full riot gear trying to stop peaceful protests. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27982991 It's such a lovely word with lovely connotations.....if you're a sadist. Definition of AUSTERE 1 a : stern and cold in appearance or manner b : somber, grave <an austere critic> 2 : morally strict : ascetic 3 : markedly simple or unadorned <an austere office> <an austere style of writing> 4 : giving little or no scope for pleasure <austere diets> 5 of a wine : having the flavor of acid or tannin predominant over fruit flavors usually indicating a capacity for aging — aus·tere·ly adverb — aus·tere·ness noun |

They protested losing their Christmas bonus on 27th October [ link to www.thisdaylive.com] then on the 13th November they were back firing rubber bullets at any citizen that dared to protest.
