Does anyone here actually own a bunker? | |

It's been bolted shut with self-tapping screws, but you can bet I keep my drill charged and the matching bit close by. Few even know it exists these days. Also, the lot I work in, and am sitting on, used to be the site of a giant WW2 munitions factory known as GECO. The ground here is shot through with old tunnels and bunkers. Many of them are still standing, and connected all over a square kilometer. If I'm stuck here, I only need to find the nearest backhoe and start smashin' ground until I get in. |

But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” Marcus Tullius Cicero "You must submit to supreme suffering in order to discover the completion of joy." - John "Calvin" Rambo |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27711841 Older and fatter now, but I still have a bunker anywhere there is a kitchen table, ironing board, or tee-pee. You must mean these desks then !!
