San Francisco to ALLOW anyone 5 or younger to expose themselves freely anywhere in San Fran! WTF!
San Francisco Supervisor Scott Wiener's proposal would make it illegal for a person over the age of 5 to "expose his or her genitals, perineum or anal region on any public street, sidewalk, street median, parklet or plaza" or while using public transit.

So basically if you're 5 or younger it's OKAY to be naked in public in SAN FRAN! WHAT? NO NEED FOR CLOTHES FOR YOUR CHILDREN WHO'RE 5 OR YOUNGER! THEY'RE WELCOME ANYWHERE NAKED!

Pedophiles must love this!

It would make it ILLEGAL for anyone OVER THE AGE OF 5?
But if you're 5 or younger it's LEGAL.

I say people should be forced to wear gloves and all woman should have to wear masks.

I cannot simply just turn my head or ignore it. So, lets make everything that makes me feel weird in the penis area illegal because I am a baby in adult skin.

Thanks!

I don't know if you have kids, but trust me, this law makes sense...lol...

So kids get a break.

If your toddler rips his or her clothes off and dashes out the door, you won't get fined, no big deal...

I find the law a little stuffy to be honest, how puritan, grown people afraid of their nakedness.

In the hot weather here, little kids run around all sorts of naked.

No one bats an eye.

Because there is nothing wrong with it.

Not so fast there. Remember a couple of weeks ago in Piedmont Oklahoma where a cop gave a $2500 ticket to a parent because their 3 year old pulled down his pants in the front yard to take a wizz.

If you've ever tried to potty train a boy, this law is a great thing. Little boys, when learning that they have the power to point and shoot at will, tend to exercise their new power anywhere they feel they can. Or if they're beyond holding point and are absolutely adamant about not peeing in their pants. I have seen several instances where other people's boys, and my own, have just whipped it out in various locations. The park, on the front porch, even on the sidewalk of a street. Luckily no one I know has been ticketed for this happening, but we all know if a police officer who was having a grumpy morning had been around, it could have turned into a headache.

This law isn't meant for kids to just run around butt naked for fun, it's to protect parents when their child decides to test their boundaries.
Don't be afraid to let go.

Precisely. When I think of how often little kids whip off their clothes and run around naked before getting caught by parents................ What would you want OP, your 3 year old kid drops their shorts and runs around naked in the sprinkler........... your kid should be arrested and you charged for allowing it?
Jeez, grab a brain.

I'm sorry but if your child is whipping his penis out to take a piss in public... than you haven't trained him well enough at all and need to go to parenting skills classes 101. You should be ticketed if your child drops his pants and gets naked. THEY'RE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

A responsible parent doesn't have problematic children. A child is the responsibility of their parents, if they aren't going to train them to behave and act properly in public than their kids should be taken away from them.

For children, being naked IS behaving properly. They aren't caught up with society's phobias about the human body.
