Though, each round of fighting, Hamas has gained more advanced weaponry and crucial training/experience.



A true cease fire, I doubt it.

Even though I truly believe in the benefit of the doubt, there is no way this will be a permanent solution. There is so much born hatred between Israel and the Arab World that it only needs a spark to let this go off again.

There will always be militants on Arab side, there will always be "better safe than sorry" liquidations by Israeli forces. "They started" "No, they started!" discussions, followed by heartbreaking images of death and destruction.

As much as I detest war and violence, I simply can not find a way to see an happy end to this. It has to build up to a climax, if not today or tomorrow or this week, than in a month or a year from now.

It sickens me to feel so powerles in a society that is growing more and more into a world that is about degrading others and highlighting weaknes in people. It is disgusting. I don't believe in a God or Allah or whatever higher power. I do believe in people though and the strenght they carry inside.

Hopefully one day that strenght will overcome the increasing focus on weaknes and the need to dominate others. I know, hope is for suckers, but if we give up hope, what else is left. Believe in yourself and the ones around you.
