Anyone offended of the health and wealth gospel in Christian churches?

Prosperity theology is originated in the United States and it is turning our traditional Christian churches into circus. So they think that you can force Holy Spirit to give you free money etc. It does not work this way!!!

Only some small fractions of church are free of this prosperity theology, and stick to the Bible. The others have sold their souls to Satan, to get more visitors to church and more donations to support the poor economy situation of church.

Those are not real Christian churches. Christ never emphasized money except to warn about it and he never had any wealth on this earth.

Yes, OP....I'm sick of all of that. Add to that list the 20-30 minutes for the time for "tithes and offerings" where people are pressured and manipulated to give to those big, shiny churches.

How they will (and are falling!) God is restoring His church and taking us back to what matters TO HIM.

Yes, there are a few. Times Square Church in NYC is one--a true light in a dark city. They minister to the homeless, the druggies, the outcasts. One of their most anointed pastors was ministered to as he lay homeless and strung out on a park bench. They preach the gospel. The love of God and the truth that we all are bound for hell without Jesus.

They've NEVER been about a distorted gospel or money. They've consistently preached the FULL gospel of the Lord. The church is diverse, welcomes all and is alive in the Spirit. Their sermons are streamed live on the net.

Six weeks before 9/11, they knew spiritually something was coming. In obedience to the Spirit's prompting, they canceled major conferences they'd had planned and held no services but continually prayed and interceded for NYC/USA. The did as the Lord told them to and I really believe that God used them to save lives. 60,000 people could've died.

Maybe if there were more like-minded churches no attack would've happened.

So, to answer your question, yes, there are SOME churches that are in it for the Lord and not themselves. Not many, but some.

I really do not believe most churches are preaching prosperity gospel. It's definitely out there, but not super common. I haven't been in a TON of churches, but in the ones I have been in it hasn't been preached.

Nothing wrong with the health part imo. God wants us to treat our bodies as temples and it's our reasonable service to God spiritually to take care of ourselves.

But the wealth gospel is for snakes by snakes. Jesus made it clear we can't serve both money and God.

That's good to hear. I worked in NYC for 6 months once, it must be hell in the winter time for the homeless. But mostly I lived in California.

I think that churches should lose their federal exemptions since they are now in bed with the Republican party.

It is like free unlimited donations to the GOP.






I also have no problem whatsoever in saying this, becase any church that gets involved in politics and Zionism does not truly follow Christ's message.

It is heretical doctrine that promotes self-worship!
