Anyway, Im not here to argue symantics of names and crap. I said Im able to get beyond those on faith anyway. Seems typical of Christians to dance around a subject and turn it into something bad. Im not baggin on your religion! I want to follow it, I do, but I cannot get over this stumbling block. I dont understand why a loving God would forsake his children when we need and want him the most.
If all a child knows iss violence and evil, that child will grow up being violent and evil. The purpose of a parent is to guide by actions, not just words. If parenting was just about giving your kid a manual and telling them to follow it, life would be much easier no? Obviously thats not the way the real world works.

As a parent, I feel God gets what He puts in. By telling us children He is effectively abandoning us in the end, how can He not expect the same in kind? Did Jesus not teach treat others as youd treat yourself?

Seems that only applies to us children. Much like do as I say not as I do. We all know how that works.

Why do you keep ignoring those of us who have addressed your central complaint? It is not God who has forsaken us, it is humanity that has forsaken him. Jesus came to earth and said "OK, so you wanted to see me, here I AM." And he laid down his life and then took it up again. He also saw to it that everything we needed to know was written down.

But that isn't good enough for you.

Those who seek him on his terms know he is here in spirit, and will soon return in person. But as Jesus said, Who will be able to endure it when he does return?
