I also once felt like your poem describes - with a heart consumed in pain. It's a difficult place to be and hope it gets better for you. It did for me when I allowed myself to accept that he was happy, wherever he was, and that somehow overshadowed my pain. The pain is always there, though, but hiding in a corner of my heart. When I think of him I imagine him to be happy and that makes me happy also. |
