Siting in the darkness waiting for the light.....
Have these feelings of being alone...
Not even my shadow is there to warm me....
Screaming like a crazy woman.....
Begging to be heard only to fall on deaf ears...
Emotional vortex that sucks me in and leaves me dead inside....
No point in tears for they fall to silent ground....
No fear ....
This is my test to stand broken and yet unbreakable...
To see if I can truly stand alone...
I tape my self together.....
And fall right back apart...
When the foundation of the heart is weak nothing strong can stay....
I use to be wild and free...
I’m a slave to the pain...
These chains hold me....
Its the closest to being whole...
Gone are the carefree days of my youth.....
Gone is that superhero strength...
I sit weak and broken in my ring....
I wait for the light to shine in my darkness....
To know it will never be seen....
