Quoting: UseLess RepEATER I don't keep up with HAARP very much, but I KNOW that my ears were LOUDLY "buzzy-ringing" this morning when I woke up at 4:30. This evening I heard we'd had a 3.2 earthquake this morning around 7-ish, centered at Kelly Point Park, which is near where the Columbia and Willamette Rivers join, a little NW of downtown Portland. I still am experiencing said "ringing" though Gakona's site didn't look too active: [link to www.haarp.alaska.edu] HAARP Status still shows this area as very active: [link to www.haarpstatus.com] Real Eyes, Realize, Real Lies..... This is nothing uncommon here, as there is flooding from the Chehalis, the Skookumchuck and Newaukum rivers anytime we get prolonged heavy rains. The rivers mentioned farther north flood just about every year. It blew pretty good for a few hours and the rain was heavy. Not really anything out of the ordinary for winter storms in this area. Power went on and off a couple times for a few seconds, but other than that and some trees down, pretty normal winter stuff here. |

Though it tends to be very wet in November, this storm was definitely above average, but not historic. Real Eyes, Realize, Real Lies..... Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 27662195 United States 11/20/2012 08:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | nothing crazy here in West Central Idaho , rain ,some wind some rain ,some wind . Usually we get 4 to 6 inches of rain up here for the water year ,Oct 1st, before snow sticks . Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28052759 Right on track . Why do the trees grow so big ? because it rains . a) this is mainly impacting coastal areas, as is 'normal' for an ARKstorm b) if you look at how wide this thing is, and the ARK's get up to 400-500 miles wide average, you can see it's path tracking up through canada. c) i watched all the videos and the reports from forest service and utility workers is, 'we have never seen trees come down at this rate, ever.' the trees were snapping off left and right as they were trying to clear other trees across the road...that's how the cop car got wrecked & exploded in flames. consensus is that yes it's not totally rare for there to be a big rainstorm, but for all of it to come at once and with the extreme 'hurricane force' winds, no. 'hurricane force' being the phrase used by meteorologists. |
