Spending money you don't have on programs that don't really benefit the citizenry; Making it damn near impossible for regular citizens to possess firearms to protect themselves from violent criminals; What police force you have is scared to death to actually enforce the law because of political correctness and union thuggery. Paradise indeed. Sometimes you have to run, before you can walk. |

Union jobs cost WAY too much and drive product prices up. Finally - the economic reality every liberal ignores, and which their supreme leader messiah O has already said - raising taxes on the top 2% alone will pay for only 8 days - is not enough. Should of voted for the other guy losers. Now as Chicago descends further into anarchy they get what they deserve - chaos. They wanted it by ignoring economic realities. They deserve this. |

Look at how Congress wastes money, and you'll see how local and state govts. think they can do the same thing: $10,000 for talking urinal cakes in Michigan (to fight drunken driving), $142,000 for a Department of Transportation grant offering free bus rides to Super Bowl attendees in Indianapolis, $25,000 for the Alabama Watermelon Queen to tour the state to promote her prized crop, just under $50,000 for Smokey Bear hot-air balloon rides, and $325,000 for a robot squirrel designed to help test the relationship between squirrels and rattlesnakes. $350,000 National Science Foundation grant about golfers needing to “envision a bigger hole” to improve their putting, and $445,000 on a play about biodiversity and climate change that reviews deemed “boring” and “needed improvement.” |

Chicago, because it is President Obama's hometown and black people are dominant there. New Jersey, because it is also a city with a large black population. And Stockton, mainly black and Latino. And "liberal democrats" translates black majority political party. Trigger words like "break down in law and order", echoes of yester year's "THEY are coming for US! They will carry off your wives and daughters, and take your land and goods! Run for your lives!" Hmm...You think the Native Americans made the same claims when the ships landed? Sigh. The more things change on this twisted planet, the more they stay the same. |

Quoting: *NaN* Edit: Am I missing a joke here? I'm missing it too, then....here is an actual joke (with minor changes, "Lasagna" may be substituted for "squirrel") A pastor was giving the children's message during church. For this part of the service, he would gather all the children around him and give a brief lesson before dismissing them for children's church. On this particular Sunday, he was using squirrels for an object lesson on industry and preparation. He started out by saying, "I'm going to describe something, and I want you to raise your hand when you know what it is." The children nodded eagerly. "This thing lives in trees (pause) and eats nuts (pause)..." No hands went up. "And it is gray (pause) and has a long bushy tail (pause)..." The children were looking at each other, but still no hands raised. "And it jumps from branch to branch (pause) and chatters and flips its tail when it's excited (pause)..." Finally one little boy tentatively raised his hand. The pastor breathed a sigh of relief and called on him. "Well," said the boy, "I *know* the answer must be Jesus ... but it sure sounds like a squirrel to me!" Both the national violent crime rate and murder rate were down in 2011, reports the FBI." Fire these people, downsize here, do with less... Government employment has been filling in for the lack of private sector jobs. So, in effect, people are going to go through all these economic austerities just to gather up enough money to make the minimum payment on a maxed out credit card. Austerities will just extend the game a little longer. |
