I don't have the guts to quit my job and just be a traveling bum. I enjoy the darkness though, I wouldn't mind a climate where it's warm but also dark a lot, as far as I know, no such climate exists.

For example in Montreal, Canada the sun did set @ 16.20 in that day. So it could not be dark at all.

Things are "little" different if the OP live for example in south US such as Texas where the sun did set @ 5.32 PM so in that case it was not normal at all a dark sky @ 5 PM
