BREAKING!!!!!!!! 36 hours are up for gaza

I read they are certain to go in. Both sides cannot move from the position they have taken given their own security interest and so a cease fire will not occur and Israel has decided to go.

Well...........

If they DO go in, they lose international support and risk a prolonged insurgency from the Iranian Basij, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah.

If they DON'T go in, it'll be perceived as weakness by the Israeli far-right and they will come to power in January's elections - guaranteed (and I'm not talking about Likud and Yisraeli Beitanu. I'm talking about Shas).

Talk about lose-lose :-/

Israel won't stop nor should they,they have a chance to cripple Hamas and pull Iran into a war that has to be fought for their very survival.

Nobody actually cares about the Palestinians. Not even Egypt. These neighboring countries are run by business men who care only about lining their pockets. Palestine has nothing to offer them. They talk a lot of crap because after all they are Muslim brothers so of course they will condem Israel's actions. But they aren't gonna risk life and limb defending that little patch of land. Honestly, behind closed doors they probably wish Israel will just go ahead and wipe Gaza off the map so everyone can go about their business as usual. I doubt even Iran, even though they have beef with Israel will get involved. Reason being that to do so will give Israel an excuse to bomb them too.

Let's see, it's a known historical fact that Yasser Arafat was Egyptian and had no claim to any land in Israel. He was a terrorist. The muslims also agreed after world war 2 that Israel would be formed and they can have arabia and the middle east. The only true claimants to the land known as Israel are the bedouins, but the fucking muzzies all but eradicated them. Palestinians are little more than an illegal occupying force from Egypt. I say Israel should go in, clean house, boot everyone the fuck out into Egypt where the fuckers belong and seal the border. Palestine is just a myth made up by a stupid fucker terrorist from Egypt who wanted to destroy Israel.

The only reason Israel hasn't gone in already is because they are worried about International opinion. They aren't scared of a few Muzzies in Gaza.

Hamas is the same for the most part. They have anti-tank weapons now and some other arms that are better then they were but they still don't stand a chance against Israel.

Also Egypt is "backing" them. Egypt supports their fellow Muzzies in Gaza but they aren't guaranteeing their protection or anything like that. Egypt doesn't want to fight a nuclear armed country just because a few Muzzies in Gaza can't keep their finger off the trigger. The only reason the USA is giving Egypt aid is because they keep peace with Israel. If Egypt went to war with Israel it would lose all it's aid and face other consequences. It's economy is already in shambles. They can't afford to get any worse.

If a ground war starts it will be similar to the war a few years ago. Egypt won't join in. It will just be Israel and Gaza.

My biggest concern is Iran. I doubt they will do anything but there is always the possibility. They are nuts after all.

Honestly I think Israel should use Gaza to get a new peace treaty with Egypt. Let Egypt annex Gaza and keep the peace. It would be a win win for both sides. The people of Gaza wouldn't like it but who gives a damn about them? They were the ones who elected Hamas in the first place. They don't want peace so as far as I'm concerned they lost their say in their future. They had their chance for peace but choose Hamas instead. I'm tired hearing about the innocent people of Gaza. They want war as much as anyone. They were the ones who picked Hamas to run things. They are responsible as much as the leadership of Hamas. They are also willingly acting as human shields. I don't see why anyone should be pissed if they get killed. Israel has been warning the "civilians" to stay away from Hamas. If they are across the street from Muzzies launching rockets then they should expect to be killed.

I hope they flush it down the toilet. Gaza that is.

Isreal had the Gaza strip. They gave it back to the pallie's. In a move for peace. I was called the land for peace initiative. See what Isreal has received for this gesture. A constant bombing.

Well Israel made a huge mistake when they gave in to terrorist demands. This must be a big reason why you should never negotiate with terrorists. Why not just take the southern part of the strip and turn that into a military control zone and blockade from the sea. Everything that enters Gaza should be thoroughly inspected by the IDF long before it reaches "Palestinian" soil to prevent Hamas from smuggling in more weapons. As long as Gaza borders Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood will continue to supply them. By the looks of it, they don't have enough of a cushion to prevent arms from being smuggled in. Unless of course Israel is allowing it for some odd reason. I'm not privy to that type of information however.
