Laser from plane scanning queens ny last night

Back on Feb 21, 2008, the US shot down a rogue satellite. That night, I noticed that there was a green meteor or some fast flying green light. A few minutes later, Fox News announced that the rogue satellite had been shot down. Perhaps we saw the same thing, your son and I. The other thing I saw that same night was an unexplained array of lights in the sky similar to the Phoenix lights. The green light that I saw did not appear to be a missle but perhaps it was a lazer that was used to shoot down the satellite.

i saw the same thing in staten island around 1am. it was a jet, not a plane. there was a green laser scanner on the bottom of the plane and it went back and forth twice. my friend and i were really freaked out, no idea what it was.

I live in the North Flushing area by Bowne Park and have just seen low flying aircraft "scanning" our area multiple times since about 4:30am-ish with a green light from the bottom and a beam of light (emitted in a triangular fashion). I thought it was a helicopter initially but after going outside I noticed that it was a wide winged aircraft that was producing this green light/beam. It looked to be headed to LaGuardia Airport and then came back - repeatedly. Very odd.

I was able to get a video of it from my camera. How do I upload it?

I saw the SAME THING last night at about 1:30 AM ! Ive been on google searching all morning and havent found anything any answers ?!

I saw the same thing last night:

Aircraft with green laser, appearing to be scanning the ground, flying over head back and forth multiple times over the little neck / great neck area of north east queens.

It looked like it could be flying in the direction of LGA or foty totten, but it came back and forth multiple times between 4:30 and 5 am

The laser is not very visible in this video, however I can confirm that this video captures the same type of aircraft as I (and others on the internet) saw last night over nyc

No bullshit I saw this too, I was coning back from getting my laundry and I stopped to pull the bag out of mu cart (astoria 30th ave) and a green light was on me. It was heading north towards ditmars, looked like god was shining a laser pointer down back and forth really quick. I looked up and saw it was coming from what looked like a plane (commercial) but without the red and white lights on the wings. Went for a few blocks north and then the light stopped and went back up almost in the fashion an old tv turned off. I thought I was just high, drippiest shit I ever seen.

my friend and I saw the same thing in the Hunts point section of the Bronx last night... it looked like a regular passenger jet with a green light underneath that scanned across the sky

I saw the exact same thing tonight! Aircraft with a wide green laser scanning the whole area! Wtf!

It was a twin engine prop plane , flying very low and scanning the whole area row by row for several hours. I'm in central NJ.

i saw something like this early this morning in matawan nj. never seen anything like it. small plane made one pass and then came back around. second time, all of the sudden, what appeared to lasers or beams of light apeared from under the plane and shine all the way to the ground. the lights faned out and tilted back and forth and then shut off. happened again a few seconds later and that was it.

Can you tell us where in Queens your son saw it? Do you know what direction it was scanning (north/south or east/west)? I saw this same thing in Queens on Wednesday night and I'm trying to get a good picture of where it's been and where it might be going.

Other people who have seen this: please post where you were, what time it was, what directions the plane was flying and how many times it flew over you and a brief description of what you saw. Let's try to get as much granular info as we can about the planes on this thread.

Here's my experience:

I was on the border of Queens and Nassau County on Northern Blvd and Glenwood St. It flew east first, into Long Island. Then it flew back west towards the city. It flew back and forth five times in total between 4:30 am and 5 am on 11/22 (Wednesday night / Thursday morning)

It had a green laser being emitted from the belly of the plane. The plane flew low to the ground and -- as many people here have described -- it looked like a giant bar code scanner, with the laser extending in a triangular fashion from the plane to the ground.

This thing is real and there is an increasing number of reports about it. If you have seen it, post as much info as you can!

This thing has been bothering me all night. I live in ft.lauderdale, fl and I saw the same thing about midnight last night (4/11/13). Ive been looking for an explanation.
