Maybe everyone should start speaking the native tongue of the different regions in Australia... You don't need to sing in English in an English speaking country. You need to be respectful of people and their culture, whether it be the country you are in or the country you are from. You must respect the laws, customs and traditions of the country you are in first off but this doesn't mean that you can not still practice your own beliefs as long as they ate not illegal in that country. Last I checked it's not illegal to speak another language in Australia. It is a lot easier to lie when you are the only one who knows the truth than it is to find the truth when all you know is lies. The suburb I have lived in for the past 10 years is full of people from all over the world of a few different races. One of the schools in the area has 70% of students coming from a non English speaking background so you can't get more culturally diverse than where I live & I have never seen anything like this. Yes I'm sure it happens just like it does elsewhere in the world but do not try to put all Aussies in the racist basket as it's simply not true. |
