i have been diagnosed with PTSD and this is PRESCRIBED to me.
i don't ABUSE it.

PTSD? Xanax is bad! My mother was on it 4 awhile like 8 yrs.. Search it! Theirs much better stuff then xanax. Try natural and or Chinese acupuncture.

Yeah, just what I needed to read about...more escapism and substance abuse.

Xanax can steal chunks of memory without you noticing it gone. Then the memories don't come back for years after you stop using it. I dumped that stuff and started smoking pot.

I even quit taking most of my pain medicine by smoking pot. Right now I'm in a lot of pain, but I don't know it. Cheers to the beers.

i know what xanax is, how it affects my body and mind, what my particular circumstances are as to why i take it, and i know all the alternatives and have tried them all. thanks.
i'm working with a therapist weekly with mind/body therapy ( i forgot the word for it) so i am pro actively doing something about my PTSD more than just taking xanax.
thank you for caring but i am well read and experienced with this and i know what is right for me.

i cannot smoke pot because 1, i do not like it very much 2. it is illegal and i don't want to get thrown in jail, i have children to take care of. i am not in any physical pain.

let's just let everyone make the choices that are right for them.

ptsd = mental trauma. no pill will ever cure mental trauma. it must be addressed mentally.

the ironic part is that while on xanax you cannot address the traumatic incident mentally.

i wasn't a big fan of the horses or seagulls, but man do i love some rain/thunder/lightning/birds.

I seen a video that said DMT works on ptsd.


Took out the seagulls I agree they were a bit to loud. lol
