No, I don't feel final is the right word. I think its a good idea. Nobody would own this land, but they would be the "priveledged guardians" of the Holy Land. If they wanted to be landowners, they could be relocated to a different country of their choice.

Israelis prefer to kill sleeping children with bombs, artillery shells and missiles. They can stay far enough away to avoid the blood spatter that way. The stress of hearing the cries of survivors buried in rubble is also reduced.
