at first I thought the OP was asking for our opinion on the best food to have while stranded, but then it seemed apparent that he/she meant our favorite food.

For survival, coconut, avocado, hemp is great, too. Durian also has potential, if you can get past the smell.

get good weed seed, grown right
and you get pseudo beer for buzz.
plus all the usual resource for
a fusion reactor and life, contained.

something to draw your plans for surviving on.
paper, you'll miss it quickly.

Wow Jeff Lynne has 3 songs in this thread. Cool. Glad I'm not the only fan. He has a couple new cd's out. One under the ELO brand. Remakes of songs like Strange Magic. Sadly the strings have been for the most part replaced by synthesizers. However, his voice has not changed at all. He also has a solo cd out with a bunch of covers. New material will be coming out next year,

And there's a lot of cheating going on here, where one food becomes a combo meal, and one song becomes an album...so I'm joining in on the....

Food : Waldorf Salad.
(Fresh, Organic, Chilled, Great Apples and best walnuts, the mayo must be homemade with organic eggs, apple cider vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.........That should cover most bases)

Song : Now I'm not going to cheat here. No albums. Anything too slow/mellow might depress me after a while. So, considering I will probably use it as an occasional anthem to get me going, and make me feel positive when the endless waves bring me down.....So!
