Whats more comical are the fake mars landing. Million miles away. They should call that one pinnoclos landing. Or deep. Do do
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14786143

I remember when NASA was talking that due to cuts a few years ago they'd never be able to do a major mission and then *BAM* "We're going to Mars!" just like Total Recall.

Big lies are easier to get away with. A big enough one especially from a generally thought to be credible source goes over no problem.

OK OP, this is for all the points, so take your time with your answer.

Which is larger...

a) a peanut
b) an elephant
c) a kettle
d) the moon

Oh I'm sorry OP, elephant is incorrect, you lose.

Better luck next time.

no- the elephant is only smaller because it is farther away than the moon- it was in the shinning - you all saw it

So, the fact that this guy has a stuck N key or misspelled one word means he must be wrong? And you back up that argument with a few ad hominems at not just him but by extension anyone who goes along with him. Got it. Thanks for reasoning tip.

Without reading a book or being told the great lie. You look outside and can see its only 30 miles above us. Noway we went there period. You want to solve the debt. Crisis? Everyone pay 50 bucks to look through the huble telescope at the stuff we supposed left on moon. Noway would they let us have that access. The gig is pretty big
 Quoting: Truthbetold11 14786143

The Hubble has looked at the Moon. Its max resolution at that distance (not the 30 mile nonsense you pulled out of your arse but the real distance) is at best a football field per pixel. You would need a telescope with a mirror a few hundred feet across to see what was left on the Moon.

Stars are supposed to be 100 times bigger than the earth. Zero nada zero pictured of stars in background on moon. They just disappear? Or the astronuts cameras dont take stars in photos. Comeon man!
 Quoting: Truthbetold11 14786143

Every photo on the Moon was exposed for bright sunlight. Stars are comparatively dim. They would require a tripod and a long exposure. No actual photographer disagrees.

Folks im sorry with typos. Ipads arent easy to type with. Anyways. The buzz for today. Hum lets see. We covered most of the facts. So its 50/ 50. If we went there. But are we to believe our govt. the masters of propaganda? Hilter once said. Tell the lie so big that noone would believe the truth. Meaning only a few would disagree. Of course we dont have any politicians who lie. Bill c. I did not have sex relations with that woman. G bush senior. No new taxes read my lips. Of course we got them. The lies versus facts are endless. So i bring up a topic. And get saul alinsky tatics to discredit the messenger. Trust me i was a believer up to 2 years ago. Then i did my homework. With common sense. In the words of the late johnie cochran. If it doesnt fit you must aquit. My spin is. Facts dont lie liars use facts

Here's a simple response:

If the moon is only thirty miles up, it would almost always be in the shadow of the earth. Therefore it would be almost invisible most of the time. However, since it does reflect sunlight, it must be a lot higher. Like 240,000 miles higher up.

Second response:

It the moon was that low, gravity would force it to go very fast to stay in orbit. It would race across the sky, which, it obviously doesn't.

This was all agreed to by people hundreds of years before NASA by the way. Look up Galileo, Copernicus and Kepler in Wikipedia. Also look up Eclipses to see what the earth's shadow looks like.

Wo wo. Bringing up the old guys. Now were talking. Theories are just what they are. The bible which is considered to be a credible history book as well. Explains many opposite points against those old timers. To long to debate. But its. Science versus god and to discredit the bible the opposite stance must be taken it cant be close, cause man will always side with their god. So science views has to be super extreme The other way

Re: Moon 240,000 miles away. Come on man!
CCTV ran a live broadcast of the Shenzhou VII spacecraft launch to mark the second phase of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s Project 921 at the end of September. This video footage, however, contains many unexplainable physical phenomena. These anomalies from the broadcast, which include bubbles in space, no evidence of the earth’s atmosphere, and the lack of background noise usually hear in space communication, call into question the legitimacy of the mission itself. Upon analyzing this footage, some even suspect the live broadcast was a fraud that employed an analogue video taken under water to simulate conditions in space.

Clouds abruptly changed in scale within two seconds during the live broadcast of Shenzhou VII spaceship launch. (video still at 5 minutes 45 seconds)
Hoping to understand these anomalies, The Epoch Times co
ntacted Chinese expert Dr. Qu Zheng, who worked at NASA’s even china has some splaining to do.

you dont need to slam on the brakes when you get to the moon.. the moon is also traveling at 1000's of MPH in relations to the earth, the closer you are to the earth the faster your orbit is.. you can use math and such to intercept the moon and let its circle of influence pull you into orbit fairly easily..
which is exactly how they did it... a fuckin protractor pad of paper and a little bit of fuel is all it took.. pretty obvious you know nothing about space

Plenty of billionaires? Really? Find one that has said they would fund it. Money IS the problem. Congress funds NASA AND tells them what they can do with the money. Congress has not given them decent funding since the 60's. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't true.

Oh and ad hominem noted. I doubt there are any paid bloggers here. I do find it hilarious that as soon as someone has a different opinion the accusations of paid posting come out though. Awfully paranoid if you ask me.
