Said that they are not looking for a short term truce, but looking for Hamas to stop firing rockets into Israel for a very long time. If you trust that you will be able to negotiate with Hamas, you wouldn't say for them to stop firing for a "very long time", you would say "for good", or "forever". Israel does not trust them to agree to a peace deal. There will be no cease fire. Look for ground troops to go in soon. |
