No one can remember everyday of their life, as I look back on 3 decades, I only remember bits and pieces.

just like waking from a dream?

is the nobody just someone who knows that we are dreaming?

When you die you cease to exist so there is only nothingness to look forward to.

But for others, our work is never finished, and we continue to dream

then the real world is not different from the dream world.

you could be in a paradise eating at a resort in tropic weather, while the homeless man 100 meters away is starving to death having a nightmare.

so, if nobody can control this world like a dream world, what then?

We come back again and again. As your spirituality increases over lifetimes the remembering will improve. Nothing is lost. And ultimately , there IS no two ness . The duality of physical life is an illusion, but very hard to come to grips with. It is all one. It's like a coin, two sides but one coin. Like the salt in water or the binder in paint. There is no two ness
I say burn all of your bridges while you still have control of the flame.
We are like flies crawling across the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel: We cannot see what angels and gods lie underneath the threshold of our perceptions. We do not live in reality; we live in our paradigms, our habituated perceptions, our illusions; the illusions we share through culture we call reality, but the true historical reality of our condition is invisible to us.”

imagine if there was no spoon, meaning its all an illusion,

imagine if you were dreaming, you could bend the spoon

so if nobody can bend the spoon, what then?

and if our bodies are like water, water freezes and becomes ice, its still water, in a sense.

it can melt and eventually evaporate, just like our bodies can die, where does one go?

nobody changes from one form to another form

The human brain is like a fast computer.

It can't work without input.

The key question thus is...

Who/what is behind the keyboard??????

Else, you would see everyone slouched over and walking into walls....

Consciousness is the universe's process of knowing itself. What is behind the keyboard? Consciousness... and what is behind someone else's keyboard? Consciousness... the very same consciousness that pervades every single atom in the entire universe on the quantum level.

Quantum knowing...

Oh we're definitely fucking dreaming. Problem is dreams can become a nightmare from which you cannot wake.

So let's wake up while it's still good and dandy, agreed?

Assumption you're making is that the "holographic" universe is literally a hologram sustained by some exterior machine.

This is as real as it gets. Switch the "hologram" off and there is nothing. switch it on and the universe and time exist.

You know how there's still a spatial, 3D world when you're asleep, dreaming?

Well, the "real" world is manifest in exactly the same way. The universe is just a single consciousness dreaming an epic dream.
