Are you talking about me? I like hugs. The feeling I get from a good hug reminds me of being in love; safe and secure and cared about. It makes me release all my stress. Unfortunately I rarely get those kind of hugs.

I am sociable, I have to work to eat, I have to talk to and associate with people at work.
But it is all FAKE, I know this, all of it is pointless crap.
I am not an introvert or a weirdo with speaking problems.
I just know the reality of life, and somehow this has given me a disability in that I don't want to bother with people because I know how fake they truly are.
Maybe it was because I was like this once, until grim reality forced me to see things for what they really are.

See this is all fake superficial crap craving for fake hugs and crap, this is not the answer.

I think the troll has just outed itself.

i just wish there was someone out there who can cook me up a nice dinner.

I'm not talking about fake hugs. I'm talking about the kind of hug where you feel warmth and caring from the other person. Those are rare. I guess this is what I am missing in life; a REAL connection, where you don't have to explain your feelings, you both just feel them.

I work in customer service (of sorts) and get meaningless fake hugs from coworkers and passengers alike. Its uncomfortable to be in someone's personal space if you don't connect with them on a deeper level like friendship, empathy or love.

No one is happy right now. We are in the middle of a transition and it is about all the BS coming to a head.

Does someone cooking for you have special meaning?

You could wear a blindfold.

I do want more friends and maybe even a S.0. again someday, but I won't compromise either. So being alone is the state I choose right now. I have been lied to by so many people and hurt by even more that life is much more stable with a buffer of protection around me. Only a few have gotten in, and all but a few have showed their true colors in the end.

Ask my coworkers about me and they will say I'm outgoing, happy, easy to work with, good with people, patient, good at solving problems. But when I am home its a different story. I can go days without any contact with people before I start feeling bad and isolated. My independence has kept everyone at an arm's distance.

A lot of people are going to be having these feelings as these days between go by. Learn from it, fix the issues at the root of your feelings..whether it is born out of guilt,shame, or whatever else, and overcome it. Join us in the new dawn.
